Promotion Manager

Assist VP Creative Services with developing promotion and marketing strategies, outside media buys, and the budget planning process. Oversee all on-air news and show promotion. Conceptualize, write, produce, and edit major news and station image campaigns. Direct film crews and staff through location film/video shoots. Supervise sweeps promotion. Direct the staff through major sweeps and station projects. Oversee departmental projects for branding and graphically packaging the TV station. Supervise the daily operation of the staff and act as liaison with other departments. Approve scripts and final implementation of promotion, including scheduling. Work with events organizers on logistics, and event execution. Work with web team to develop “micro-sites” and implement web content. Research, evaluate, and approve non-linear editing systems and graphics works stations for creative services department.
